Traveling by motorcoach is America's safest method of highway transportation. Respected highway safety agencies of the Federal Government, as well as private highway safety advocates, have recognized the value of the motorcoach's passenger-protecting construction, and of having a well-trained professional driver at the wheel. As true as that is, however, the SAFE operation of a motorcoach isn't universal. A motorcoach company's good highway safety record is the result of hard work, diligence and a willingness to pay constant attention to details. New World coaches undergo constant careful inspections...and are always maintained to the industry's highest standards. New World drivers must successfully complete a rigorous training process that is well beyond the industry's standards, as well as any federal requirements. OUR SAFETY INSPECTION RESULTS
Every coach company is issued a U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) identification number, and that number is stenciled on the side of all commercial trucks, buses and motorcoaches.
Every company's safety, insurance and compliance records can be checked by going to the website, www.safersys.org, and entering the company's USDOT number. New World's USDOT number is 604665.
New World is also certified to transport US Military forces. This certification was earned by virtue of the most rigorous inspection program in the industry. Ratings are assigned numerically from 1 to 5...1 being excellent...and New World is proud to be rated "1" across the board by the Department of Defense (DOD). FLEET QUALITY INCREASES SAFETY
Approximately every three (3) years, New World introduces a brand-new fleet of motorcoaches! This insures our guests that the likelihood of highway breakdowns is minimal, that their coach is built and equipped to current safety standards, and that New World guests are traveling aboard the best the industry has to offer.
SECURITY
Times have changed...and security has become a huge issue for all travelers! Motorcoach travel...with it's ability to provide "door-to-door" service
...is also changing to provide for the new security needs of it's guests. New World's home service area of Washington, DC, for example, has unique traffic patterns and access points for travelers, and these change from day to day. New World monitors these changes daily to avoid delays and deliver our guests to their destinations as safely and timely as possible.
